Common questions
Where are my saves?
On Windows, in %APPDATA%\Waxpack. On Linux and Steam Deck, in ~/.local/share/Waxpack. The binder is binder.json, the season in progress is season.json, the last fifty seasons are history.json, and your settings are settings.json.
Do my saves follow me between computers?
Yes, through Steam Cloud: the binder, the season and the history. Settings stay on each machine, so a Steam Deck and a desk can keep their own text size and glyphs. Quit to Steam before you switch, so Steam can upload the latest.
I quit in the middle of a game and it counted.
It does. A quit records the game as it stands: at or over the quota it is a win, under it a loss. A quit before the game's first spin records nothing.
The buttons don't do what the bottom of the screen says.
Waxpack expects Steam's Gamepad layout. In Steam, open the controller settings for Waxpack and choose the Gamepad template. The button names at the bottom of the screen follow the controller you last touched; Settings > Glyphs can pin them to one family.
The text is hard to read, or the colors run together.
In Settings on the title screen: Text size Large, and Contrast High (ink instead of soft ink, plain paper, heavier frames). Disc colors Distinct keeps every wedge apart for color-blind players, and can be changed during a game. Motion Off stops the shaking and drifting.
Something went wrong.
Email what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead, with your operating system. If you can, attach the game's log: %APPDATA%\Waxpack\logs\godot.log on Windows, ~/.local/share/Waxpack/logs/godot.log on Linux and Steam Deck (in Desktop Mode). We run no analytics, so your report is genuinely how we find out - thank you.
Does the game go online?
No. It makes no network calls of its own. See the privacy policy, which is short.
Requirements
Windows 10 64-bit, or 64-bit Linux with glibc 2.28 or newer, and a graphics card with OpenGL 3.3. It plays on Steam Deck.
