Waxpack Privacy Policy
Waxpack is a baseball card game played on your own computer. This policy is short because we collect nothing at all.
What we collect
Nothing. Waxpack has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers of our own. The game makes no network calls of its own.
Where your league lives
- Your seasons, your binder, your settings, and the game's own log are files in your user folder on your computer. Nothing in them is sent to us.
- If Steam Cloud is on for Waxpack, Steam keeps a copy of those save files in your Steam account so they follow you between computers. Valve stores them under its own privacy policy; we never see them.
- Deleting the game and its save folder deletes your league. There is no other copy of ours to delete.
Steam
Waxpack is sold and run through Steam. Valve processes your purchase and keeps your playtime and achievements on your Steam account, all under the Steam Privacy Policy. The game asks Steam for two things: to record the achievements you earn, and to open Steam's own controller layout screen when you ask for it. We receive aggregate sales reports from Valve and never see your payment details.
If the game crashes, Steam may send Valve a crash report, which Valve makes available to us so we can fix the crash. We use it for nothing else.
The free demo does not use achievements. Its wishlist button opens Waxpack's Steam store page in your web browser.
Children
Waxpack is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Because we hold none of your data, a change cannot affect data we have already collected. There isn't any.
