Common questions
Where are my saves?
On Windows, in %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Labrac. On Linux and Steam Deck, in ~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Labrac. Your progress is labrac.json, your settings are labrac-settings.json, and the demo keeps its own progress in labrac-demo.json.
Do my saves follow me between computers?
Yes, through Steam Cloud: your progress goes with you. Settings stay on each machine, so a Steam Deck and a desk can keep their own. Quit to Steam before you switch, so Steam can upload the latest.
I quit in the middle of a night and lost it.
It does: the pause menu warns that the night is lost. Nights you finished before it, the buildings they opened and the medals they won are all kept.
The buttons don't do what the bottom of the screen says.
Labrac expects Steam's Gamepad layout. In Steam, open the controller settings for Labrac and choose the Gamepad template. The button names on screen follow the controller or keyboard you last touched. The CONTROLS page on the title screen lists every button.
The screen shakes or flashes too much, or the game is too fast.
In SETTINGS on the title screen: SCREEN SHAKE and FLASHES each turn off, MUSIC and SOUNDS have their own volumes, SLOWER NIGHT slows the whole night down, and BIGGER HINTS makes the hint row larger.
Something went wrong.
Email what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead, with your operating system. If you can, attach the game's log: %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Labrac\logs\godot.log on Windows, ~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Labrac/logs/godot.log on Linux and Steam Deck (in Desktop Mode). We run no analytics, so your report is how we find out.
Does the game go online?
No. It makes no network calls of its own. See the privacy policy, which is short.
Requirements
Windows 10 64-bit, or 64-bit Linux with glibc 2.28 or newer, and a graphics card with OpenGL 3.3.
